The gameplay consists of sneaking around a casino getting optional power ups to help you as you spend the gambling allowance you have.
CRAZY CRITTER PROJECT
For this project, my primary responsibility was designing the layout of the game and its levels. I played a key role in communicating with the artist, ensuring they were provided with the necessary assets for the game’s development. I began by creating an early blockout to visualize the overall layout of the map, which helped guide the design process. Additionally, I recognize the importance of documentation in game design. Every idea generated by the team or myself was recorded and integrated into the game design document, ensuring a comprehensive and organized approach to development.
The story of our game is based on our main character “Barryl” who is struggling to pay his son tuition fee and therefore the only way he thinks he can start making money is by gambling, “Barryl” decides to start going to the casino and test his luck by playing different minigames, he needs to reach a certain amount of nuts by the end of the week to pay his son tuition fee otherwise the game end and he loses all his money and his wife and child will think he’s a loser.
